About Chippydale's
My name is Matt and Chippydales is my firm, we were first established in Bristol but I have recently relocated to Swansea with my family. I started in construction when I was 17, working for a small building firm in the north. Over the years I have laboured for carpenters, plumbers, electricians, plasterers and brickies, but found that I really enjoyed working with wood, I'm a bit of a perfectionist and I love the precision of carpentry and joinery. Over the years I continued in carpentry and trained at college, but still threw my hand at other trades such as plumbing and tiling. I have picked up a few tricks along the way and made a good few mistakes that turned into valuable lessons, but my philosophy is simple, do the best job possible, hold my labourers to a high standard and work with the client to help them achieve their vision.
